Resources

Resources for Youth:

You don’t have to do this alone. If you or one of your friends is experiencing an issue or challenge where substances seem like the easiest solution, please know that you are not alone and there is always help available.  If you have an adult in your life who you can trust to talk to about a problem, that is the best way to get the help you need. If you feel more comfortable talking to one of your friends, or seeking help from an adult together, there is always power in numbers. The adults in your life, or your friends, may not know the exact thing to say but sometimes we just need someone to listen and help us decide if we need to seek additional help.   We’ve included some resources here to help if you don’t have an adult you can go to, or if a friend has come to you with a problem these resources can be helpful. It’s always a good idea to save these hotlines and resources in your phone, because you never know when you might need them!

  • Alcohol and Drug Helpline: 800-821-4357
  • Colorado Quitline: 800-784-8669 (for tobacco cessation)
  • Suicide Hotline: 800-784-2433
  • Underage Drinking Hotline: 877-662-4643
  • Above the Influence - Designed for teens, freevibe.com is an interactive website filled with alcohol, tobacco and other drug information, facts, and media shorts.
