The School-Based Mentoring Program brings dedicated, part-time mentors—carefully screened, trained, and supported—into select schools across Routt and Moffat Counties. Each mentor works closely with a group of up to 10 students, offering consistent, one-to-one support each week. Through academic guidance, social-emotional coaching, and help with decision-making, mentors nurture the growth of the whole child while fostering meaningful, lasting connections.
Looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? This paid opportunity is perfect for those passionate about working with school-aged youth and interested in building their skills in youth development—all within a supportive, non-clinical environment. It’s also a great way to gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit and school sectors.
Peer Mentoring is available to schools on an as-needed basis.
Our dedicated Mentoring Team can deliver Peer Mentoring alongside a School-Based Mentoring (SBM) program, or—if a full SBM program isn’t possible—we can offer Peer Mentoring as a stand-alone option.
