Program Overview

Role of a School Based Mentor

The Mentor is a part-time, paid staff member who supports students in the school environment, both inside and outside the classroom.

They help create a safe, consistent space where students feel seen and supported through activities such as:

  • Art, writing, journaling, games, walks or simply sitting and talking
  • Participate in in-school and after-school programs

Peer Mentoring

Role of a School Based Mentor

Peer Mentoring

Peer Mentoring is available to schools on an as-needed basis.
Our dedicated Mentoring Team can deliver Peer Mentoring alongside a School-Based Mentoring (SBM) program, or—if a full SBM program isn’t possible—we can offer Peer Mentoring as a stand-alone option.

If you're interested in learning more or bringing Peer Mentoring to your school, please contact us at info@partnersyouth.org
