The Partners Youth Scholarship supports youth who have been involved in a Partners program as they pursue higher education, including college, university, trade school, or a certification program. This scholarship provides opportunity and encouragement to pursue continued education for youth with financial need who have participated in Partners programs.
The HKCS is Colorado’s widely-administered survey on the health and well-being of young people and school health policies and practices that support youth health. The HKCS takes place every odd year, and all schools in our service region (Routt, Moffat and Grand) participate in the survey. This local data gives us a better understanding of the specific Risk and Protective Factors that our youth are facing.
MindSprings Health is the Western slope’s largest behavioral health care organization, covering 10 unique Colorado counties including Routt, Moffat and Grand counties.
Mind Springs treats a large scope of behavioral health care needs, from prevention services like Mental Health First Aid courses and Positive Psychology/Resiliency program, to outpatient services and in-community services like school-based mental health initiatives.
Rise Above Colorado has been a successful leader in promoting healthy youth behavior and preventing substance misuse. Their work in correcting misperceptions about youth substance use is called Positive Community Norming. Positive Community Norming uses data-informed messages to align perceptions about youth substance use with reality and promote positivity among youth in Colorado.
